Wooden Cutting Board
I love these bamboo cutting boards and I highly recommend them as you get a set of three.
Do not buy wooden cutting boards labeled ‘non-stick’ or finished with shellac or mineral oil. I would also advise against walnut oil, paraffin wax or tung oil.
The best kind of wooden cutting board salve you can make includes 100% beeswax combined with olive oil. Recipe from Beeswaxco from my podcast episode released on December 15th, 2023:
One part beeswax
Four parts olive oil
Heat in double boiler and pout into ice cube trays and let cool. Use as necessary.
